Talk about your pet phrase
Almost everyone has their own pet phrases, such as "faint", "get out", "really", "are you sure" etc. Some pet phrases maybe prevailing just for a while, and some maybe for ever. Pet phrases can also be spreaded from one to another, especially by those who you are admired, you may be easily infected.
For me, I also have many pet pharases. Once chatting with friends on the internet, I would like to use "sweat", "lambkin", "go ahead", "faint", "why not" etc. These emotional words do not mean the original idea, they are used just to exaggerate our feeling.
And in my real daily life, I use above pet phrases less, I have another edition. If I agree with you, I often say "good". If I can not agree with you , I may say "why". If I do not want to some thing that someone request, I may say "It depends", it means 看情况吧 in chinese. If I encounter somebody disgusting, I may say "rubbish" without thinking, of course behind its back unless I get blowup, it means 废人 in chinese. I also like to use "really" to impress my double-meaning, sometimes it means I agree with you, and sometimes it means I can not agree with you, but I do not want to make you disappointed. Above preclusive, many other pet phrases maybe used in my daily life, there is no need to list them all.
Anyhow, everyone has his/her own pet phrases, sometimes these can make you be popular or humorous, but otherwise, if you exaggerate your motion too much, maybe somebody can not accept it, and will dislike you. So every thing has its two sides of impact, just well-holded the time and the object and the degree. Helping youselves enjoying your exciting pet phrases!
