North Korea opens US-style fast-food restaurant - but don't mention the hamburger

North Koreans can finally get a taste of American-style fast-food in a new restaurant opened in the capital of the isolated country, as long as they don't ask for a hamburger.

Instead, patrons of the Samtaeseong diner, which opened in Pyongyang last month, have to order a suspiciously similar "minced beef with bread".

The isolated Communist state has long banned what it calls Western or US "imperialist influences" on its people. But there was only so long it could hold out against the temptations of fast food.

Children who eat plenty of dairy foods such as milk and cheese can expect to live longer, a study suggests.

Some 4,374 UK children from a 1930s study were traced 65 years later by researchers in Bristol and Queensland.

They found those who had had high dairy and calcium intakes as children had been protected against stroke and other causes of death, journal Heart reports.

Despite dairy containing artery furring fat and cholesterol, high consumption did not raise the heart disease risk.

The display showcased a quartet of robots aimed at tackling the particular risk of fires involving cylinders of the industrial gas acetylene.

The robots range from a nimble, stair-climbing reconnaissance unit to a diesel-powered robot with a large claw.

The restaurant was opened with the help of a Singaporean company, according to the Choson Sinbo, a North Korean newspaper operating out of Japan. The newspaper added that the restaurant also serves waffles and draft beer, and is planning to introduce hot dogs and croissants to its menu, but with Korean names.

先指出个小错误，是朝鲜不是韩国
哈哈，谢谢分享，昨天都没来得及看后面的，原来朝鲜的人均工资是650英镑，现在英镑对人民币的汇率应该也就1：11、12的样子，也就是说月平均工资是600多元的样子，吃得起吗。。。。

可藕询问中医，因为牛奶的异体蛋白很多，不适合吸收，会导致人体对外界的排异，即过敏症，西方人患此症状颇多。
