火箭队球星姚明上周刚签下了一分为期5年价值7500万美元的合同。他的收入位居福布斯杂志公布的中国名人榜第一名，这也是他连续第二年赢得第一的位置。请看报道：

　　Yao Ming topped Forbes Magazine's list of Chinese celebrities again.
The Houston Rockets' star signed a five-year, $75 million contract last week, and earned the ranking for the second straight year, the magazine's Chinese version reported on its Web site.
The 7-foot-6 center and three-time NBA All-Star has one year left on his rookie contract, which will pay him more than $5.5 million next season.

Forbes put Yao's 2004 income at $18.5 million, about 25 percent higher than last year.

　　文中的rookie表示a person who is new to an organization or an activity，即"新手"。例如：These rookie cops don't know anything yet.（这些新警察什么都还不懂。）
