　初中英语教材既配有语音、初中英语词汇和初中英语语法结构的训练，又涉及了语言的功能、意念和话题，突出听说能力的培养，旨在提高学生的读写能力。教学中，我尝试着将“游戏”贯穿在课堂教学中，效果还不错。众所周知，要使书本知识转化为学生的基本技能，最好的办法就是反复练习。为了让学生都能积极参与到练习中来，我就常采用“竞猜”游戏的方法。例如在教授“Who is my friend?”时，我就把两个同学编成一组，一组负责描述：“My friend is a boy,He is twelve,He is in Row3,Number 6.Please guess who is my friend?”另一组则根据以上信息加以猜测：“Haha!I think he is Linmin.”接下来第一组再给出答案：“Yes,that is right./NO,that is wrong.”在课堂上进行这样的游戏，参与率比较高，学生能得到充分的练习，知识和技能巩固效果也更好。有些学生对我说“现在学英语比以前有趣多了”。
游戏常进行，学生乐无穷。我相信，如果经常把教学内容穿插到游戏中，鼓励学生大胆地用英语进行参与表达，慢慢地，学生运用英语的初步交际能力就会得到一定的提高。（高福秀）
