一路有你
I came across iCIBA on the internet more than one year ago. I found it excellent, so I became one of the registered users. From then on, I came here from time to time! But it was since this March when I started my first job that we became even closer to each other.
一年多以前，我在网上查单词，巧遇爱词霸。我觉得这是个优秀的英语学习网站，于是便注册成为会员。从那时候开始，我就不时来这儿逛逛。但从今年三月我刚开始工作的时候起，我和词霸才走得越来越近。
The primary responsibility of my first job was to translate e-mails. There were not so many e-mails to translate, so for the most of the time, I was surfing on the Internet. My favorite was iCIBA. I spent much time here, learning and relaxing. Every morning, I would go to Emily之爱美丽 and made a guess. Then, I just went around, reading those articles that attracted me. We could not listen to music at work, so when I came home, I would look for the updated songs.
我第一份工作主要是翻译邮件。每天要翻译的邮件不是很多，所以大部分时间，我就在上网。我最喜欢浏览的网页就是爱词霸。很多时间我都在这里学习英语和放松身心。每天早晨，我会到每日一猜去猜谜。然后，我就在爱词霸上到处逛，找自己感兴趣的话题看。上班的时候没有音响，所以一般都是在下班回到家之后，我再上爱词霸每日一歌和英文歌曲板块听最近更新的歌曲。
One day, I came across an advertisement which says love dictionary was in need of editors, so I went for a try. Several days after I submitted my translation, Scallion sent me a message, telling me that I could start my work. How happy I was at that time!
一天，我在爱词霸上看到爱心词典找兼职编辑，于是就投了简历，想尝试下。Scallion给我发了两段文字，让我翻译。交了翻译几天后，Scallion发信息我说我通过了，可以开始工作。那时，我真的很高兴。
Actually, when I received her message, I just quitted my job without finding a new one. I thought I was wasting my life there, surfing on the internet for most of the time. What I needed was a more meaningful job. My parents blamed me and pushed me every day to look for a new job. During the most difficult time of my life, it was iCIBA that made me feel confident and feel that I am still useful. Every day, I checked the new words submitted by registered users to see whether they were correct or not. Some words were those that I had not seen before, so I searched on Google to make sure if they were correct or not. I really learned a lot when I was checking the words. Several weeks later, I found a new job. I was so busy with my work that I had to give up the editing work in iCIBA. What a pity!
其实，在收到小葱姐姐的短消息的时候，我刚辞职了，而且还没找到一份新工作。我觉得自己大部分时间在网上闲晃，是在浪费生命。我想找一份更有意义，更能实现自己价值的工作。父母责备我不该在找到工作之前就辞职。他们每天都给我压力，催着我找新工作。在我人生那段难过的日子里，是爱词霸坚定了我的信心，让我感觉自己还是有用的。每天，我会检查词友提交的词条，看它们是否正确。对于有些我没见过的单词，我就上google搜索，确定它们正确与否。在我检查词条的同时，我也学到了很多知识。几周后，我换了工作。新的工作实在太忙了，我只能放弃了爱词霸的兼职编辑。真是很遗憾！
However, every day after work, I still come here, learning and relaxing. It seems to have become a routine. My favorite haunts those days are the House of Tyros, Oral English, English songs, and Astrology English.
但是，每天下班之后，我还是会来这里学习，娱乐。这似乎已经成为我的一个习惯了。我现在常去的版块有：白丁屋，口语专区，英文歌曲和星座英语。
I like literature and translation, so the House of Tyros is exactly what I am looking for. Here is my Arcadia, where I can put aside my sadness and worry, just relaxing myself by appreciating and translating the picturesque poems and beautiful articles. Here I came to know many friends, like 鹃MM，冰哲MM, 若尘JJ…
我喜欢文学和翻译，所以白丁屋就正是我所要寻找的。白丁屋是我的世外桃源。在这里，我可以暂且搁置我的忧伤与烦恼。欣赏着，翻译着如诗如画的诗歌和优美的文章，整颗心都轻松了许多。在这里，我结识了许多朋友，鹃，冰哲，若尘……
I cannot remember when I made acquaintance with Tina. I think it were songs that connected us. I liked the songs introduced by Tina very much, so I went to Astrology English to support her and began to translate the Pisces. I learned many new expressions and slangs here. Gradually, Tina and I became good friends. Tina once invited me to be a volunteer in translating everyday astrology, but I refused. I was really sorry for that. But it was true that I was heavily loaded with my work. When she started a vote for a new master among nine candidates several days ago, I did not know how to turn it down again. It was her insist and her passion that moved me. I agreed to join if I can get the highest vote. Even if I may not have enough time, at least I will try! Now, I have applied for the job. I hope we can make Astrology English better and better!
我不记得是什么时候认识Tina的。我想是歌曲把我们连到了一起。我非常喜欢Tina发的歌曲，所以后来，我就去星座英语支持她，开始翻译双鱼座运势。在这里，我学到了很多词组和俚语。慢慢的，我和Tina成为了好朋友。Tina曾经邀请我加入每日星运的翻译，但我婉言谢绝了。我感到很对不起她，但我工作真的很忙。几天前，她发起一个投票活动——在９名候选人中选出一个新的版主，我不知道该怎么再次拒绝。她的坚持以及她对词霸、词友的热情感动了我。我答应如果票数最高的话，我就加入。即使我可能没有足够的时间，至少我要尝试一次！现在，我已经申请了星座英语版主一职。我希望我们能把星座英语办的越来越好！
I did not feel lonely because of the company of iCIBA, and I will never feel lonely and helpless since we will go together all along the way!
因为有爱词霸的陪伴，我不曾感到孤单。以后我也不会感到孤单和无助，因为一路有你！
