Nickel - P (Ni-P) is coated in many industrial applications widely used in coatings, due to their outstanding mechanical and chemical properties, such as high hardness and good resistance to corrosion / wear resistance properties. Ni-P coating can be through various technologies, including formation of electroplating and chemical plating. Nickel plating can be used for decoration works and electroforming, and industrial equipment can be used to improve corrosion resistance. Although Ni-P coating has many advantages, but it also has shortcomings. First, in order to obtain a higher corrosion resistance of Ni-P electrodeposition coating must have a chrome coating the top layer, which makes it more complicated process. Another disadvantage is the essence of Ni-P coating process can not form a complete coating complex shapes.
