The day of mourning - we pray for you
为表达全国各族人民对四川汶川大地震遇难同胞的深切哀悼，5月19日至21日为全国哀悼日。在此期间，全国和各驻外机构下半旗志哀，停止公共娱乐活动，外交部和我国驻外使领馆设立吊唁簿。5月19日14时28分起，全国人民默哀3分钟，届时汽车、火车、舰船鸣笛，防空警报鸣响。
股市将停市三分钟　根据中国证监会的决定，为表达对四川汶川大地震遇难同胞的深切哀悼，上证所将于今天14点28分起临时停市3分钟，其间所有证券交易暂停，14点31分起恢复交易。　　
为响应国务院号召，各娱乐场所已接到通知，暂停营业。
各高校大学生自发组织哀悼活动。
灾难袭来，每一个中华儿女、炎黄子孙都会受到深深震撼。让我们为遇难者默默哀悼，rest in peace.

      The day of mourning - we pray for you
Let's remember the date 12 May forever.We will never forget what happen on that terrible and memorable DAY on which day many people died and injured,on which day many children suddenly became orphan,and on which day many victims became homeless and suffer great pain from losing relatives and friends.We Chinese are heartbroken and woeful for what happen on the date of disaster aera.Let's pray for the victims who have died forever.Let's help the refugees who are lucky to escape from the disaster.Let's give our love to all the sufferers who indeed need our console and support.
   We mourned deeply in our bosom for all the victims.We hope such tragedy will never happen again in the world.At the same time,we hope the rescuers can come home soundly and the disaster aera can recover soonly.We chinese will stand together and be unity to fight against the terrible earthquake till all the survivals were rescued and all broken buildings were reconstructed.
   Will is power.Unity is strength.We belive that the disaster aera can be recover and reconstructed after the support of unity,persistence,kind, will power and love from all chinese people and other countries.
