If you could change yourself tomorrow...?
The topic is interesting, even though I seldom use the word interesting to describe a topic, but it does is. The topic sparks my imagination and interest to suppose many different roles I wish to be. Just like some familiar episodes as shown in movies, a luck guy happens to save an angel, or an evil, or whatever. To show his/her gratitude, the angel or evil agrees to fulfill three wish of guy. The end of the episode is always the same: at first, the guy’s life is greatly changed through his wish, however, because of his greedy or laziness or whatever reasons, his life returns back to be former one. Nothing has changed, since life is real.
First and foremost, I wish I were my current supervisor. I hope to know how does he evaluate my work, and will he plan to promote my salary in the coming financial year. With equal curiosity, I also want to know how my colleagues judge me. Do they think I am amiable? Is there any flaw in my personality? Generally, I get along with my colleagues pretty well. But in most cases, we show our courtesy, I don’t know their true comment on me and my performance. I want to see their sincerity.
If possible, I would also like to know the lottery number in advance. Then I will get a lot of money. For example, 100 millions, that is enough. Then I will buy two big houses, one for me and my future wife, and the other for my parents. I will run my own company, or I will start an English schools. In addition, I might sponsor a movie in which I will act the major role. Of course, I shall sponsor to build ten Hope Project primary schools in rural area.
Well, I also wish to be a superman with super power. I will help the poors and punish the evils, like Hankok. By the way, then I can fly back and forth. I don’t need to pay the flight fee to visit my girlfriend. Don’t need to wait the flight every time. Sometimes, the flight was canceled due to the weather conditions. How wonderful. I can also fly back home when I miss my parents, I will eat the delicious foods my mother cooks. In that way, life would be perfect.
