Talk about the famous english teachers who you konw
Talk about my process of learning english, perhaps my English teachers aren’t the famous ones, but they did give me great help and support. I began to learn English when I entered in junior high school, but before that my sister (she is also an English teacher) tutored me, maybe she was my real abecedarian, I liked english, for no reason, maybe parents always told me learning english well is good for your future, I did as they said
The teacher I most want to thank is Mr. Du, he is an odd teacher with unique english teaching, he was badtempered and strict, in his class, you must pay more attention on his thought, because he could make you answer questions at any time, then we were all nervous, his teaching method was unusual, everyday we had to recite articles and words, he would give you twenty minutes to recite and then made you write from memory, I think many people can’t bear this, there was full of tension in the class, but it’s useful for me, my english was very good then, but only limited to written english, he liked me, I was cute and diligent, I helped him do many things like checking homework and examination papers, making exercises, so I learned more knowledge than others. Just because his temper or family reasons, he was ill later, it’s pity that we had to change the teacher.
It seemed that I was accustomed to his teaching style, in the following years, I always thought learning english should be in the tension atmosphere, I don’t like teacher to analyse the article for me, I even think we only need to recite and apply it, that’s ok, but I really master the basic phrases and sentences in that year, very important year. Because I am interested in english, I never stop studying english, I seldom to recite articles now, reciting is really a splendid way to learn english for the beginners, although it’s not scientific, I think ways which suit you is the best.
In my fourth year of university, I was influenced by the Interpretation teacher Shi zhixiang (ENBO’S teacher, maybe someone knows him), then attended the interpretation training class, it’s a new challenge for me, oral english is always my weakness, I took it as a good opportunity to enhance my orals, but due to the job-seeking and other reasons (I think I am finding a pretext for myself), I missed many classes, I failed the exam. But now I am repreparing to the exam, I want to try next year, I care more about process, though the result is important.
