“What do you think about…” 是一个很普遍的索取意见或资料的问法, 很多时“think of”和“think about”差不多意思, 这里我们集中怎么回答“What do you think of/about”的问题顺便介绍几个片语.
(#1) 是侄女问我关于她男朋友未来成为丈夫的意见; (#2) 问关于跑车/模特儿的意见而引出一个常用的片语: “that’s a hot one”, 注意这里“dollar” 这个字没有“s”的; (#3) 问关于老板性格的意见; (#4) 问关于橙子价钱的意见; (#5) 问关于做事结果的意见; (#6) 的用法有嘲笑的意味并引出同意词句“how does that grab you?”.
特别留意的片语是: (#1) husband prospect, husband candidate, good qualities, make for; (#2) swimsuit model, that’s a hot one; (#3) nice one minute and mean the next, make of that; (#4) ripped off, got screwed, dirt cheap, buy them in bulk; (#5) that’s more like it, that’s much better; (#6) intercollegiate, singles title, how does that grab you.
