俄罗斯族
主要分布于新疆维吾尔自治区西北部、黑龙江北部和内蒙古自治区东北部的呼伦贝尔盟等地。根据2000年第五次全国人口普查统计，俄罗斯族人口数为15609。使用俄语，属印欧语系斯拉夫语族，通用俄文。

鄂伦春族
主要分布在内蒙古自治区呼伦贝尔盟鄂伦春自治旗、布特哈旗、莫力达瓦达斡尔族自治旗，以及黑龙江省呼玛、爱辉、逊克、嘉荫等县。使用鄂伦春语，属阿尔泰语系满一通古斯语族通古斯语友。主要从事狩猎和农业。有自己的语言。没有本民族文字，一般通用汉文、也有部分鄂伦春族用蒙古文。
鄂伦春一词有两种含义．一为使用训鹿的人，一为山岭上的人

鄂温克族
主要分布在中国东北 黑龙江省讷河县和内蒙古自治区，鄂温克意思是“住在大山林里的人们”。大部分鄂温克人以放牧为生，其余从事农耕。驯鹿曾经是鄂温克人唯一的交通工具，被誉为“森林之舟”。

　　1957年统一民族名称为鄂温克。　　鄂温克族有自己的语言，属阿尔泰语系满——通古斯语族，通古斯语支,分海拉尔、陈巴尔虎、敖鲁古雅三种方言。没有文字，牧区一般用蒙文，农区和林区通用汉文。
　　过去，鄂温克人信奉萨满教，敬奉鬼神，崇拜大自然。
　　鄂温克族的民间文学十分丰富，他们能歌善舞，民歌优美动听，风格独特，即景生情，即情填词。
　　鄂温克旗的鄂温克族人以畜牧业为主，衣着仍保持着传统的鄂温克服饰，但生活中现代便装已很普遍；牧区的鄂温克人以乳、肉、面为主食；

　　高山族是居住在台湾省的少数民族。主要居住在台湾省台湾本岛的山地和东部沿海纵谷平原以及兰屿上。台湾当局称之“山地同胞”，简称“山胞”。因地区、语言的差异，内部有阿美人、泰雅人、排湾人、布农人、鲁凯人、卑南人、曹人、赛夏人和雅美人等之别。此外，尚有10多万已被汉化的平埔人。平埔人历史上包括10个族群。他们散居在台湾西部、北部、西南部平原与沿海，长期与汉族杂处、通婚，较早接受汉族文化，至19世纪以后已基本与汉族融为一体。还有人散居祖国大陆东南沿海。高山族有自己的语言，属南岛语系印度尼西亚语族，无文字。不同地域的高山族使用不同的语言。主要从事农业和渔猎业。
